Time is just zipping along in scary little torrents for me. What have we been up to? Well everything and nothing all at the same time.
We have done a lot of visiting with friends. Enjoying having good friends and family over to the house to enjoy a day together.

And of course with good friends and a little time comes some good food and drink… (like the amazing Jerk Chicken pictured below)

And we have even done a little night swimming, when it was hot. And enjoyed our little backyard fire pit.

Shane and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary. And he finally got it right and took me out to a lovely dinner and surprised, really truly surprised me, with this

We took some time to explore our new neighborhood, including our local library. Which we ALL LOVE!! WOW the Library in Whitby is nice nice nice. So we’ve been spending some time finding quiet spaces in the house to enjoy a good book.

I have been knitting, but not tons. And I miss my spinning wheels something awful. I feel that itch and suspect it will be scratched very soon. I hope whatever you are doing its cooler than the heatwave we are having in T.O right now. Enjoy!
Looks like your summer is going fine! Nice quilt someone is snuggling under with that book! Gorgeous window view too! Cheers!
I love your new home. I’m going to paint several rooms in green too, but a different shade. It looks very comfortable, and nice for reading or knitting, or whatever.
hey you!! this ‘good friend’ is waiting on her bbq, pool, etc invite! lol. the heat is killing me! I’m trying to knit tonight, but can only do it cause I have 2 fans blowing on me! I’d love to be able to just open my back door and dive! love and miss you. xoxo
PS> congrats to both you and Shane! 9 years already, eh? wow! xoxoxox
