About Me

A Little bit about me…

I’m a mother to two beautiful little girls which is a daily source of joy and inspiration in my life, I’m a wife to a very patient and loving husband and I have an intense love of yarn, knitting, spinning and all things crafty. By day I’m a mild mannered (ahem, sort of) Supervisor in an I.T deparment. My focus is online solutions and document management. By night I am a short order cook, maid, storyteller, dog walker, shirt folder, picker-uper, sandwich cutter and craft goddess.

I’ve been knitting and crocheting for 10 years now, and spinning for only a short while. But these things make up a very big part of who I am. I almost always have my knitting with me wherever I go. I really enjoy my blog, and have learned so much from the online crafting community. I tried to do one of those ’100 things about me’ pages but I just couldn’t think of that many things about me !!

I’m never happier than when I am within arms reach of all my darlings (my girls, my husband and my little dog Jasmine) and even better if there is yarn my hands. I’ve known my husband since we were eleven years old, and I’ve never known a truer friend. My husband and I work at the same company and never get tired of seeing each other.
